Martini at 2 Weeks

We visited our Martini again on her two-week birthday (Saturday). Her eyes aren't open yet, but they should be popping open soon - her nose was getting runny, which is a precursor, and her bigger brother's eyes were ever-so-slightly visible at the corners of his eyelids. She's still a big eater and probably the second largest, just a little smaller than her big block-headed brother. Her butt-hair is still wavy, too, but not as pronounced as last week. Even though she couldn't see, she was actually pushing herself up on all-fours in search of food. It was like watching our baby's first steps - it was very cute.
Momma Nutmeg is a great dog who seems to have taken a liking to me. We're confident our Martini's going to be a sweetheart since her mom is such a great dog. I can't wait to have her wake me up at 3:00 a.m. to go outside :-).
